Discrimination Undone

It rarely happens, but the powers in Austin got it right today.  Remember earlier this month, when the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council told social workers it was okey-dokey to ignore LGBTQ and disabled clients?

Well, the community backlash was too hot to handle, and the Board retracted their action by a unanimous vote.  Make no mistake, they knew what they were doing earlier, and it was deliberate.  They perceived these groups as low-hanging fruit, that would not have the power to fight back.  They were wrong.  Every time they are wrong, they need to be corrected.  Loudly.
